Recharged... just in time.

Yesterday was so much fun creating with my friends. And of course the exchange of snarky glances when a "colorful scrapper" would walk by. It's funny how different we all feel about scrapbooking and what we deem beautiful/creative/interesting.
After a day filled with fun and energy, I actually beat my children home. They had a fun-filled day with their Grandma Sue and were still sowing their oats at 9pm. We finally got them to bed around 9:45, only to be awoken at 3:30 in the morning by the unforgattble Croup bark. Natalie was woefully unhappy and uncomfortable. And after 45 minutes in a steamy bathroom, she curled up at the foot of my bed and slept until 9:30. She's been dining on Jell-O, 7-Up, and Honey (for her cough) all day and loving every minute of it. It's amazing how fast children fall ill and recover.
So we spent the day lazily at home, and Larry did some more plumbing work (this time it was the constantly running toilet).
I hope Natalie is 100% for her perpetually postponed pagaent on Tuesday!

Hope Nat gets feeling better soon. That croup is scary stuff.

Trevor got the croup Friday night. I think Drake is the only one who got any sleep. We ended up at the doc an Saturday morn and they gave him a dose of steroids. Helped the cough go from a big bark to a little woof but he still had a rough night. Doped him up last night on some codine cough syrup we had...at least we all got some sleep! Hope Nat is feeling better!
