The sleepover that never was.

Timing is everything. And I don't have good timing. That's C actually looking at the camera like I asked him to.

Friday night Erin and I tried to get our boys to have a sleepover. Tried. Each one of them (including Natalie) had some sort of meltdown regarding the sleeping arrangement.
So they all fell asleep in various parts of my home, then Erin took C home (after we caught up on Desperate Housewives and enjoyed a glass of wine) and brought him back for breakfast the next morning.
It worked out just fine, and I made smiley face pancakes for the kiddos and then the boys played inside and outside capping it off with a bike ride at the elementary school. About 45 minutes after C went home, the storm hit, so our timing couldn't have been better to get out of the wind and rain.
Today we're just hoping the weather continues to stay nice so that we can get our family portraits done with Brooke!
