Trek to the Tulips

Since this is the last official weekend of the tulip festival, we thought we'd try to brave the traffic and make an appearance (we haven't been since Brady was a baby). We found one patch, and just as we decided to head to another, the rains came. It was a quick trip to Skagit county that day. Oh, well. Natalie did have a grand time picking up petals that had dropped and had quite a collection of muddy, wilted, tulips petals before we left. Then she "planted" them among the flower beds in the garden where we parked. Nice.
