The difference between boys and girls

Last night Erin and I got our boys together for some playtime (and so we could catch up on DH, but the night was totally selfless on our behalf).
Brady couldn't wait to play Convoy for Christian, and they were getting worked up listening to testosterone-driven music that I had to get a video of these two together.

If this was me and Terra when we were this age, one of us would be in tears running to our mom about 10 seconds into our interaction. Girls can't play like this, somebody takes it seriously at some point and gets her feelings hurt and the playing is over. Boys say "That didn't hurt" "Nice kick" and "Oh yeah, watch this!".
While the boys were playing/fighting, Natalie was in the other room lining up her dollies in rows and giving each one a name ("tiki""rocky" "seeseu" "neekee"). There is no kicking. No wresting to the ground.

But I do have to say Natalie is frustrating to go on hikes with. On Monday when we went to Mt. Baker, she lallygagged down the whole trail, stopping to eat fresh snow, sing a song, give directions on how I should walk, etc. Anything BUT walk down the stinkin' trail. Hiking with her takes time. And nobody was in the mood to take their time hiking in the snow.
